The popular Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco has been a hotbed of real estate development lately. Four mixed-use condo projects have recently been built creating 278 new homes in the neighborhood along with numerous new restaurants, retail shops, and a 29,000 square foot grocery store. Below is a quick review of the latest developments.
A new omakase-style sushi restaurant named Robin recently opened at 620 Gough Street. This restaurant is located on the ground floor of 388 Fulton, a new 69 unit condo project developed by The Mark Company.
630 Gough Street will soon be home to Johnny Doughnuts. Their space is currently under construction. Johnny Doughnuts is also located on the ground floor at 388 Fulton.
515 Gough Street is available for lease. This 1,585 SF retail space is offered exclusively for lease by Downing & Company Real Estate. More information on this space is available here.

399 Grove Street is now home to Barcino, an upscale restaurant offering a menu inspired from the Catalonia region of Spain. Barcino was developed by food-industry veteran Bill Russell-Shapiro who owns The Absinthe Group.
Pladra, a maker of flannel shirts, recently opened at 325 Hayes Street. Pladra is a San Francisco based company. This is their 1st brick and mortar store. Prior to opening they sold their shirts exclusively online.
371 Hayes Street will soon be home to Away, a maker of “first class luggage at coach prices.” This space is currently under construction. It was formerly occupied by Kit & Ace, a maker of technical cashmere apparel.
A Mano, an Italian restaurant with a focus on pasta dishes, recently opened at 450 Hayes Street. A Mano is owned by Adriano Paganini. His restaurant empire also includes Lolinda, Beretta, Delarosa, Super Duper Burger, and Belga. A Mano is the ground floor anchor tenant at 450 Hayes, a 41 unit condo project developed by The Mark Company.
Urban Remedy, a maker of fresh organic ready-to-eat meals, juices and snacks, also just opened at 450 Hayes Street. Urban Remedy is based out of San Rafael, California. They are a mini-chain with numerous other stores in the Bay Area.
A new mixed-use condo building is under construction at 580 Hayes Street. Upon completion it will house 29 condominiums. The ground floor tenants will be Salt & Straw (an ice cream shop), B8ta (a tech shop), and Through the Hayes (an optometrist). The developer of this project is The Mark Company.
Construction of Fulton 555 is also nearing completion. Located at the corner of Fulton and Laguna Streets, this mixed use project is slated to include 139 condominiums and a 29,000 square foot grocery store named New Seasons Market.
