Noe Valley home prices continue to climb higher

With notably more buyers than sellers in the marketplace and cheap debt available, single-family home prices in Noe Valley continued to climb higher during April.

Last month 16 homes traded hands. The average sale price came in at $1,970,625, up roughly $277,000 compared to the average in March at $1,693,611. With the hyper competitive market, the pace of sales was brisk. The homes that sold last month were on the market for an average of 39 days before attracting a buyer and going under contract.

Five homes were sold as fixer uppers (725 Duncan St, 42 Homestead St, 235 28th St, 912 Noe St, and 3919 23rd St)

Seven homes sold for more than $2 million (see the chart below).
