Robust Homes Sales in Bernal Heights During January 2013

Single-family home sales in Bernal Heights remained robust at the start of 2013. During January, twelve (12) homes sold with five of them selling for more than $1 million. The overall average sale price last month was $820,125.

With plenty of buyers in the marketplace and low mortgage interest rates available the seller’s market continued. ¬†Almost all of the homes that traded hands last month sold above there respective list price.

The January sales included a mix of one, two, and three bedroom homes and were on the market for an average of 42 days before going under contract.

The residence at 162 College Avenue was sold as a bank-owned foreclosure and the home at 67 Bronte Street was a short sale.
