Mission District condos prices continue to move up

Thirteen condominiums sold in the Inner Mission neighborhood of San Francisco during August. Fueled by all-time low interest rates and buyers competing for the limited number of condos offered for sale – the average purchase price increased to $786,615 – compared to the average in July of $650,475.

The condos that sold during August were on the market for an average of only 27 days before going under contract.

Sales in modern buildings were the most prevalent last month. Nine condo sales were completed in buildings constructed after 2002. Four of these sales were in the brand new building at 299 Valencia Street.
