For the first month of the New Year, single-family home sales in Bernal Heights were rather light with only 8 properties trading hands. Historically, the number of monthly home sales in this neighborhood often register in the low to mid teens. A limited inventory of homes for sale was the most likely culprit for the reduced number of transactions. Read more about it here.
The average price for the January sales was $685,625, down slightly compared to the December average of $702,583. Two of the eight properties sold were short sales (153 Bronte St and 378 park St).
